This new event will bring together international AI experts, leaders, and decision-makers for a week filled with conferences, initiatives, and exhibitions aimed at exploring AI advancements, sharing insights, and addressing real-world challenges. The event is part of the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence.
Dubai AI Week will feature a variety of events with broad global participation from AI professionals and organizations. The main events will take place at the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 in the Emirates Towers, Dubai.
Key highlights will include the ‘AI Retreat’, ‘Dubai Assembly for Generative AI’, ‘Global Prompt Engineering Championship’, ‘Machines Can See’ Summit, and the ‘Dubai AI Festival’.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized Dubai's role in shaping the future of AI under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE. He reiterated Dubai’s commitment to fostering public-private partnerships to drive AI adoption, aiming to unlock its full potential for societal progress.
Building on the success of the first ‘AI Retreat’ held in June 2024, the 2025 retreat will bring over 1,000 experts, policymakers, and leaders together to discuss AI opportunities and launch new initiatives. The 'Dubai Assembly for Generative AI' at AREA 2071 will gather 1,800 participants for discussions, exhibitions, and live demonstrations of AI technologies.
The ‘Global Prompt Engineering Championship’ will feature 40 finalists competing in four categories, with a total prize pool of AED 1 million. The ‘Dubai AI Festival’ at Madinat Jumeirah will attract 5,000 business leaders and 500 investors, serving as a platform for AI innovation and partnerships.
The debut ‘Machines Can See’ Summit will welcome 5,000 visitors and 850 participants to explore advancements in machine vision technologies. This summit will be a key event for AI professionals and startups in the region.
Dubai AI Week will also include a dedicated program for schools, in collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), to introduce students to AI concepts and inspire future innovators.
