Somali Minister of Religious Affairs hails UAE's model of moderate religious discourse

emirates7 - Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat, met with Abu Bakr Jilani Sheikh, Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Endowments of Somalia, to explore ways to strengthen religious cooperation and enhance communication between the two nations.

During the Somali Minister's visit to the authority's headquarters in Abu Dhabi, both sides discussed various topics aimed at supporting mutual goals. They highlighted the importance of collaboration in promoting the core values and teachings of Islam, which emphasize tolerance and peace.
