Public Prosecution explains penalties of incitement to disobedience of laws

emirates7 - The Public Prosecution (PP) explained today, through a video posted on its social media accounts, the penalties for incitement to disobedience of laws.

The Public Prosecution said in the video that according to Article 27 of the Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on combatting rumors and cybercrimes, whoever calls for, or incites by publishing information on computer network or a means of information technology to disobedience of legislation in force in the UAE, shall be sentenced to detention and/or a fine ranging between AED100,000 and AED500,000.

This video is a part of the PP's continuous efforts to enhance legal culture among members of the community and increase their awareness about the latest legislations in the country.
