In its statement, the GCAA emphasized that with the increasing digital transformation, the aviation industry has become more interconnected than ever, creating a greater need for robust cybersecurity measures.
Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the GCAA, explained that these guidelines were developed in line with global standards, recommendations, and best practices, following the launch of the National Civil Aviation Cybersecurity Policy.
