emirates7 - President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has today decreed the release of 963 prisoners from correctional facilities in celebration of Eid Al-Adha.

Additionally, His Highness committed to paying all fines imposed on these inmates, who were convicted of various offenses.

It is a regular practice of His Highness to grant pardons on special occasions like Eid Al-Adha, with the goal of giving the released individuals a chance to rebuild their lives, support their families and communities, and foster the principles of mercy and compassion within society.
