UAE weather: Will it rain during Eid Al Adha long weekend?

emirates7 - Planning to enjoy the upcoming long Eid Al Adha break? Here’s what to expect from the weather across the UAE, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM):

Thursday, June 5:
The holiday kicks off with mostly sunny weather and scattered clouds, particularly over northern and eastern regions. Winds will blow from the northwest at 10–25 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 40 km/h during the day. These stronger gusts may cause dusty conditions, so it's wise to keep windows closed in the afternoon. The Arabian Gulf will experience slight to moderate waves, while the Oman Sea will remain relatively calm.

Friday, June 6:
Expect similar weather on Friday with partly cloudy skies, especially in the north and east. Humidity levels will rise along the coast by nighttime and into Saturday morning. Winds will gradually shift from northwest to southeast, easing to 10–20 km/h with occasional gusts up to 35 km/h. Sea conditions will improve, making it a great day for beach outings and water activities.

Saturday and Sunday, June 7–8:
The weekend will stay generally fair with passing clouds, but there's a chance of rain in the northern and eastern areas, including parts of Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Sharjah, and Dubai. Daytime cloud development may lead to light, refreshing showers. Winds will vary between southeast and northeast at 10–25 km/h, with gusts of up to 40 km/h. Coastal areas can expect continued high humidity from Friday night into Saturday morning. For outdoor plans in the north or east, it's best to stay weather-aware in case of rain.
