Dubai Customs triumphs globally with five-star excellence award for government communication

emirates7 - Dubai Customs, via its Corporate Communication Department, has been awarded the prestigious International Best Practice Competition (IBPC) accolade, achieving the "Excellence Level – Five Stars" in Government Communication. This recognition underscores the department's accomplishments, initiatives, innovations, and future aspirations, aligning with Dubai's government goals to foster an innovation-driven environment, cultivate talent, and institutionalize creativity.

The award enhances Dubai's global reputation, as the IBPC is a distinguished international competition where organizations worldwide present their best practices based on a framework of excellence and leadership. This year, 72 organizations from 10 countries participated, with winners announced at a special ceremony hosted by the Centre for Organizational Excellence Research (COER) in New Zealand.

Dr. Abdulla Mohammed Busenad, Director General of Dubai Customs, expressed pride in receiving this prestigious award, stating it reflects Dubai Customs' commitment to promoting a culture of creativity and innovation. He highlighted the importance of such awards in bolstering Dubai's global standing and improving the customs experience, service development, and effective communication with local and international stakeholders.
