Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed inaugurates strategic partnership between Mubadala and Aldar with combined value of AED30bn+

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has launched a new collaboration between Mubadala Investment Company and Aldar Properties. This partnership aims to establish several joint ventures focusing on prime residential, commercial, retail, and logistics assets across Abu Dhabi, totaling more than AED30 billion in value.

The initiative underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in advancing Abu Dhabi's growth as a global business and lifestyle hub. It aims to support sustainable economic development and highlight investment opportunities within Abu Dhabi's business-friendly environment and knowledge-based economy.

Owned 60:40 by Aldar and Mubadala respectively, the partnership will focus on creating a world-class retail platform, acquiring income-generating assets in Masdar City, developing islands adjacent to Saadiyat and Yas Island, and establishing a logistics park near Zayed International Airport.

Key components include a AED9 billion retail platform encompassing premier shopping destinations like Yas Mall and The Galleria Luxury Collection, and a AED3 billion joint venture for income-generating properties in Masdar City. Future plans involve developing luxury waterfront communities on two islands and constructing a AED5 billion logistics park in Al Falah.

The partnership signing ceremony was attended by prominent leaders including Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, Talal Al Dhiyebi, and Dr Bakheet Al Katheeri.
