emirates7 - The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) has introduced Data Bridge, a digital project that links all entities involved in the Ministry's services. This initiative enables the Ministry to offer proactive services, request data only once, and exchange digital documents in real-time. It is part of the federal government’s performance agreements for 2023-2024.
Data Bridge aims to streamline the customer experience by reducing the number of required documents and cutting the time needed to deliver services, marking a significant step towards reducing bureaucracy in the Ministry’s processes. The project also seeks to increase the number of entities exchanging digital documents with MoEI to 50, achieve full digital integration with these entities, raise customer satisfaction to 90% by the end of 2025, and reduce the number of required documents by 50% by the end of 2024.
Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, highlighted that the Data Bridge project represents a significant advancement in the digital transformation of the energy and infrastructure sectors. It enables real-time data access and supports more informed decision-making. Al Mazrouei noted that this project marks the beginning of a new era of collaboration and integration between relevant entities, ultimately boosting service efficiency and enhancing the competitiveness of the energy and infrastructure sectors.
To ensure the project's success, MoEI has signed several agreements with both government and private entities to integrate Data Bridge with existing systems and facilitate seamless connections.
