emirates7 - The Department of Finance in Ajman has announced that it completed 1,115 training hours across various developmental areas in the first half of 2024. This accomplishment underscores the Department's dedication to strengthening and expanding human capital in the emirate, in line with Ajman Vision 2030 and the UAE Centennial 2071.
As part of its strategic initiative for Future Skills and Talent Development, the department conducted 15 training programs during the first six months of the year. These programs spanned a wide array of topics, including specialized financial courses, financial diplomas, management and leadership, excellence and creativity, human resources, executive secretarial skills, public relations, and customer service.
Marwan Al Ali, Director of the Department, emphasized the importance of effective human resources in fostering creativity and excellence, which are key to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development within society. He noted that, given the rapidly changing nature of work globally, the Department is committed to investing in young talent through extensive training programs that prepare them for future challenges.
Walid Abdullah Al-Zarooni, Support Services Manager at the Department, confirmed that the Department's annual training plans are carefully crafted to include development programs that adhere to best practices and international standards. He also pointed out that the talent development plans, which were tailored to meet future training needs, were fully implemented during the first half of the year. Additionally, 85 percent of staff in supervisory roles participated in training, while 63 percent of those in specialized and executive roles were also involved.
