During the meeting, which was held today at the foundation's headquarters, Sheikh Nahyan expressed his appreciation for the board’s members and their efforts. At the start of the meeting, he welcomed the resolution of the Executive Council in 2021 to restructure the foundation's board under his chairmanship, with H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan acting as the board’s deputy chairman, and the membership of Abdullah Salem Al Ameri, Ahmed Mohammed Al Khaili and Issa Abdullah Al Suwaidi. During the meeting, he was briefed about the charity and humanitarian work of the foundation, as well as its decisions and recommendations regarding its programmes and projects. The board discussed its strategic plans, future plans and timelines for achieving the foundation's objectives, which were established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to support education, health and charity.
