emirates7 - Dubai Health Authority announced the new official working hours for its health facilities, in line with UAE’s new working week.
DHA administrative employees at the headquarters will work on weekdays from Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm and on Friday, the working hours will be 7:30 am to 12 pm.
Hospitals: Emergency departments will work round-the-clock on all days, while working hours in specialised clinics in Rashid Hospital and Dubai Hospital will be from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm and staff will work in shift timings.
The timing for patient visits at Rashid Hospital will be 5 to 6 pm, and in Dubai Hospital, it will be from 4 to 8 pm.
At Latifa Hospital, outpatient clinics will be operational from Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 3 pm. On Friday the clinics will be open from 8 am to 11:30 pm. The visiting hours for patients will be in two shifts: from 10 am to 1 pm, and from 7 pm to 8 pm.
At Hatta Hospital, outpatient clinic timings are from Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm and on Friday, from 2pm to 9 pm.
Patient visiting hours will be until noon, then 4 pm to 8 pm and on Friday, visiting hours will be from 2 pm to 9 pm.
Primary Healthcare Centres The authority also announced the new working hours for primary healthcare centres. Nad Al Hamar, Al Barsha, Al Khawaneej, Al Bida and Dubai Airports Health Centre will continue to work round-the-clock.
The other primary healthcare centres will work from Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm and on Friday from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Al Lisaili Health Centre, Al Mizhar Health Centre and Abu Hail Health Centre will work from 8 am to 2:30 pm on Sundays.
Specialised Centres The Dubai Diabetes Centre, the Dubai Centre for Complementary Medicine, the Dubai Cord Blood and Research Centre and the Senior Citizens’ Happiness Centre will work from Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm. On Fridays, the centres will work from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.
The Dubai Thalassemia Centre working hours for inpatients will be from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 9:30 pm. On Fridays, the centre will be open from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm.
For outpatients the centre will be open from Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am until 2:30 pm and on Friday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Dubai Fertility Centre working hours will be from Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm and on Friday from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm and the centre will work on weekends on appointment basis from 10 am to noon.
The Dubai Centre for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation will work from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. On Sundays, the centre will be work from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm.
The Dubai Blood Donation Centre will be open from 7 am until 8:30 pm.
Medical Fitness Centres The Rashidiya, Al Karama and the Salem Smart Centre will be open from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm and on Friday from 7:30 am until noon.
The Al Quoz, Bur Dubai, Al Nahda, Al Garhoud and Al Yalayes centres will work from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm. On Friday, the centres will work in two shifts: 7:30 am until 12:00pm and 4 pm to 8:30 pm.

The Land Department Centre will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm, while working hours at the Al Muhaisnah Centre will be round-the-clock from Sunday to Thursday and Friday from 7:00 am until 11:00pm, with a prayer break from 1 pm to 2pm.
COVID-19 testing centres Al Nasr Club Centre will work on weekdays from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm and the Mall of the Emirates Centre will work on all days from 10 am to 6 pm.
