Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, highlighted the importance of promoting sports and cultural activities among the community, due to their key role in improving the quality of life and encouraging young citizens to shape a more prosperous future and take part in the process of sustainable development in the UAE and the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

He made this statement while receiving, in his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City, the Board of Directors of the Al Jazira Al Hamra Club, under the presidency of Saif Hamad bin Qadib Al Zaabi.

During the meeting, Sheikh Saud, who was briefed about the club’s future plans and programmes, stressed the importance of empowering the youth and helping them achieve their ambitions, as well as developing their skills and talents and enhancing their role in the community.

The club’s board thanked H.H. Sheikh Saud and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, for trusting them, stressing that they will exert all possible efforts to achieve success in the areas of sports and culture.
