emirates7 - Abdullah Nasser Al Hammadi, a standout member of the UAE National Paragliding Team, clinched his second gold medal at the 3rd Gulf Beach Games “Muscat 2025,” adding to the UAE’s growing list of accomplishments at the event.

Al Hammadi’s latest win brings the UAE’s total gold medal count to three—two in paragliding earned by him, and one by the national sailing team in the Optimist team race. The UAE also claimed a silver medal in the air sports team competition.

Al Hammadi’s individual victories came in the target landing and cone knocking (paragliding bowling) events. The national paragliding team, consisting of Abdullah Nasser, Mohammed Abdullah Al Jasmi, Tariq Al Obaidli, Mohammed Jaber, and Rashid Al Samahi, secured silver in the team event.

The UAE delegation praised the paragliding team’s overall performance, which saw them earn two golds and one silver medal. Nasser Al Neyadi, President of the Emirates Aerosports Federation, described the achievement as the result of years of preparation and institutional support. “This is a proud moment that we dedicate to our wise leadership and the UAE National Olympic Committee, whose support has been essential in creating champions and promoting sporting excellence,” he said.

He also congratulated the athletes and reaffirmed the Federation’s ongoing commitment to their development. “These medals add to the UAE’s impressive sports record and reaffirm our leadership in air sports,” Al Neyadi added, extending gratitude to the National Olympic Committee for cultivating an environment conducive to athletic success at both regional and global levels.

Following his victory, Abdullah Nasser Al Hammadi expressed his pride in contributing to the UAE’s success, dedicating the medal to the country’s leadership and supporters. “This achievement means a lot to me. I thank everyone who played a role in making it possible,” he said.

Yousef Al Hammadi, Vice President of the Emirates Aerosports Federation, also lauded the team’s unified effort, calling it a reflection of their dedication and determination to raise the UAE flag high across international platforms.
