This initiative comes under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with direct supervision from H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the ERC, reflecting the UAE’s enduring humanitarian commitment to supporting disaster-affected populations.

The shipment highlights the nation’s dedication to global solidarity and its leading role in providing emergency relief to those most in need.

Upon arrival in Afghanistan last Wednesday, a joint operations team immediately coordinated with local authorities and healthcare institutions to distribute the aid and bolster the capacity of the medical sector in responding to the quake’s consequences.
