Dubai Chambers signs MoU with Victorian Chamber

emirates7 - Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australia’s Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to strengthen cooperation in attracting Australian businesses to Dubai and supporting the expansion of Dubai Chamber members into Victoria. The agreement also aims to enhance collaboration on specialised trade exhibitions, investment missions, and the exchange of commercial and economic information.

The MoU was signed during the 14th World Chambers Congress, organised by the World Chambers Federation (WCF) in Melbourne from 2nd to 4th September. Dubai Chambers reported that it conducted over 25 bilateral meetings with government bodies, private companies, and other chambers of commerce to showcase Dubai’s dynamic economic opportunities and explore new avenues for trade and investment partnerships globally.

During a panel discussion titled “Geo-Economics: Navigating the Ripple Effects of Geopolitical Disruption,” Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, emphasized that capital flows towards business hubs offering a stable and diversified economy, a secure and flexible investment environment, and a modern, open business landscape.

The 14th World Chambers Congress brought together leaders from more than 1,200 chambers of commerce representing 100 countries.
