emirates7 - A team from the UAE Joint Operations Command is continuing its humanitarian efforts to assist communities affected by the earthquake in eastern Afghanistan.
Through the UAE’s humanitarian air bridge, coordinated by the UAE Aid Agency and its humanitarian arm, the Emirates Red Crescent, 31 trucks carrying vital food supplies, medical aid, and shelter tents have been delivered to families in Kunar Province, providing critical relief to those impacted by the disaster.
These initiatives are part of the UAE’s swift global response to natural disasters and emergencies, underscoring its steadfast commitment to supporting people in need around the world.
The relief mission commenced last Wednesday following the team’s arrival, in accordance with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to assist those affected by the earthquake.
