emirates7 - Burjeel Holdings has formed a strategic partnership with Aasandha Company Ltd, the administrator of the Maldives’ National Social Health Insurance Scheme, to enhance medical tourism and expand healthcare options for Maldivians.
Through this collaboration, Maldivian patients will gain access to advanced medical treatments, including multi-organ transplants and specialized care in areas such as oncology, at Burjeel Medical City (BMC), the Group’s premier quaternary hospital located in Abu Dhabi.
The agreement was formalized at the Aasandha Headquarters in Malé, with John Sunil, Group CEO of Burjeel Holdings, and Aminath Zeeniya, Managing Director and CEO of Aasandha, signing the deal in the presence of senior representatives from both organizations.
Under this partnership, patients covered by the Maldives’ National Social Health Insurance Scheme can benefit from specialized care at BMC in fields such as cardiology, advanced orthopaedics, and treatments for conditions like endometriosis.
