emirates7 - The Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority (ADSSA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Burjeel Holdings to expand its partnership network and employment opportunities for beneficiaries of the Abu Dhabi Social Support Programme. This collaboration aims to connect Emirati nationals receiving support through the ADSSA programme with job opportunities at Burjeel Holdings, a leading healthcare provider in the MENA region.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Bushra Al Mulla, Director-General of ADSSA, and Omran Al Khoori, Board Member at Burjeel Holdings. It follows a successful open day event organized by both parties under the theme "Your Career Journey with Burjeel Medical City." During the open day, over 120 beneficiaries from the ADSSA programme had the chance to explore job openings at Burjeel Holdings and participate in on-site interviews, resulting in the employment of more than 15 Emirati men and women.
Dr. Al Mulla emphasized that this partnership marks an important step in expanding ADSSA's network of strategic partners, reinforcing the commitment to ensuring Emiratis' active participation in the private sector in line with the vision of the UAE's leadership. Al Khoori highlighted that this collaboration provides an important opportunity for beneficiaries of the social support programme to secure stable and sustainable employment.
The MoU outlines that ADSSA will prepare and nominate eligible beneficiaries for training and employment opportunities, while Burjeel Holdings will offer job openings based on the beneficiaries' skills and its requirements. Additionally, the MoU includes provisions for monitoring the performance and professional development of the beneficiaries.
