Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed witnesses opening of 3rd Abu Dhabi Finance Week

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, attended the opening of the third Abu Dhabi Finance Week, hosted by Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) in collaboration with ADQ. The event, which runs until December 12, 2024, aims to further solidify Abu Dhabi's and the UAE's position as prominent global financial hubs.

During his visit, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed emphasized the importance of Abu Dhabi Finance Week in strengthening the UAE's business-friendly investment climate, built on innovation, technology, and knowledge. He noted that the event offers a platform for attracting new investment opportunities, further bolstering Abu Dhabi's standing in the global and regional financial sectors.

The event facilitates collaboration across various economic sectors, serving as a global platform where experts from the financial, business, and investment fields exchange insights, share knowledge, and showcase cutting-edge advancements.

H.H. Sheikh Khaled also met with entrepreneurs from the global financial sector and was updated on key industry developments, including emerging trends, investment opportunities, and technological innovations shaping the financial landscape worldwide.

The event opened with a special address by Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development and ADGM. He highlighted Abu Dhabi's stability and growth, emphasizing its role as a partner for businesses, investors, and innovators. Al Zaabi referred to Abu Dhabi's "Falcon Economy" as a resilient and trustworthy environment for investment, and invited global stakeholders to join the city in shaping a progressive and sustainable future.

The opening ceremony featured a video titled "Welcome to the Capital of Capital," showcasing Abu Dhabi's rapid growth across various sectors.

The third Abu Dhabi Finance Week has attracted over 100 countries' financial leaders, decision-makers, corporate heads, economists, investors, and business leaders to participate in more than 50 key sessions and activities, highlighting the latest trends and opportunities in the financial sector.
