This initiative is designed to enhance the growth, stability, and cohesion of Emirati families in Abu Dhabi.
During the session, Engineer Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, provided an on the programme's progress, joined by Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi. Al Dhaheri outlined the achievements of six key initiatives under the programme, which include the Rental Assistance for Newlyweds, Facilitated Marriage Loan, Extending Housing Loan Repayment Period, Maternity Leave Support for Women in the Private Sector, Home Visit Service, and Loan Partial Deduction.
The meeting also focused on the performance of other significant government initiatives, such as the Medeem initiative, which aims to foster stable and cohesive families by offering customized services for youth preparing for marriage, newlyweds, families, parents, and professionals in the wedding industry.
Sheikh Khaled emphasized that these initiatives, along with other community-focused strategies like the Abu Dhabi Family Wellbeing Strategy, reflect the leadership's commitment to strengthening Emirati families. He noted that stable families are the foundation of a cohesive society, driving sustainable development across various sectors.
Additionally, the meeting reviewed updates on various government projects and programs aimed at meeting citizens' needs and enhancing the wellbeing of both citizens and residents, focusing on infrastructure development and the improvement of community services' efficiency and quality.
