emirates7 - President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded the "Zayed the Second Medal" to His Excellency Ruslan Edelgeriyev, the Russian Federation's Special Presidential Representative on Climate Issues, in recognition of his significant contributions to the success of the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), held in the UAE in 2023.

The medal was presented to Edelgeriyev by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation, at the UAE Embassy in Moscow. Edelgeriyev expressed his heartfelt thanks to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the honor.
