UAE: New women-only beach announced in Sharjah
emirates7 - Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has announced the creation of a new beach exclusively for women in Sharjah.

Located in the Lulu’iya area of Khorfakkan, the 500-meter beach will provide women with complete privacy and include amenities such as a café, a medical clinic, and a prayer room.

In addition to the beach, the Sharjah Ruler has ordered the construction of a pedestrian bridge connecting the Al Bardi 6 and Al Batha areas in Khorfakkan city.

Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of RTA Sharjah, mentioned on the Sharjah’s Direct Line radio programme that the new bridge will facilitate the movement of residents between the two areas. He also noted that modifications will be made to the internal roads in the Hayawa area.
