emirates7 - A cargo plane has crashed near the city of Kavala in northern Greece late on Saturday.
State TV ERT reported that all eight members on board the aircraft, which was an Antonov An-12 owned by a Ukrainian company, were killed in the crash.
According to reports, the plane was flying from Serbia to Jordan, when the pilot requested an emergency landing at Kavala airport due to engine failure, but the plane went off radar 10 nautical miles to the west, and crashed about 40 kilometres from the airport.
