emirates7 - Dubai Chambers recently welcomed a senior delegation from the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) to discuss investment prospects in Morocco and explore ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two markets.
The talks centred on supporting the expansion of Dubai-based businesses into Morocco and strengthening trade and investment ties.
The meeting brought together Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Chakib ALJ, President of CGEM.
Lootah affirmed Dubai Chambers' commitment to fostering strong international partnerships and creating opportunities for sustainable economic growth. “We are dedicated to facilitating investment and collaboration for local companies looking to grow in Morocco,” he said.
He also emphasized the significant contribution of family-owned businesses to Dubai’s economy and outlined the Chamber’s tailored programmes and support initiatives designed to ensure their long-term success.
Chakib ALJ expressed enthusiasm for potential collaboration across a variety of sectors and reiterated Morocco’s intention to strengthen its economic relationship with Dubai. He also welcomed the opportunity to draw on Dubai’s expertise in support of Morocco’s preparations to co-host the FIFA World Cup in 2030.
