emirates7 - His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, presided over the Ministerial Development Council meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.

During the session, the Council reviewed the progress of government programmes and projects, deliberating on various regulatory decisions put forward by federal ministries and entities.

The meeting agenda included proposed regulatory measures in the health and social empowerment sectors, as well as updates on the implementation of government housing policies under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme.

Additionally, the Council evaluated the latest findings from the committee responsible for assessing flood-related damage to infrastructure and federal projects, discussing potential solutions to bolster national resilience.

The discussions also encompassed strategic initiatives designed to enhance the UAE’s global standing in renewable energy, the green economy, investment, higher education, and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the Council focused on improving government efficiency and analyzing labour market trends to ensure alignment with national priorities.
