emirates7 - Last week, four UAE humanitarian convoys entered Gaza through Egypt’s Rafah crossing as part of the country’s ongoing Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, aimed at supporting and assisting the Palestinian people in light of current circumstances.

The convoys carried 76 trucks loaded with over 1,419 tonnes of aid, including food, medical supplies, shelter materials, and desalination equipment.

The UAE relief team based in Al Arish supervised the careful preparation and loading of the shipments, coordinated their passage through Rafah, and ensured their delivery to recipients inside Gaza. The team also continues to monitor operations on the ground to ensure aid reaches Palestinian families quickly and effectively.

Since the start of the truce and the reopening of border crossings, the UAE has scaled up its humanitarian response, dispatching 325 trucks carrying a total of 6,775 tonnes of aid to Gaza. These efforts have been crucial in easing humanitarian conditions, meeting essential needs, and reducing the suffering of the most vulnerable.

The UAE reiterated its steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, mitigating the impact of the crisis, and standing in solidarity with families in Gaza.
