emirates7 - Tadweer Group has introduced a new Ramadan campaign titled Naqa’a, which translates to "purity." This initiative aligns the fundamental values of the Holy Month with sustainability, aiming to foster a cleaner and greener future for upcoming generations.
Abdulwahed Juma, Executive Director of Communications and Awareness at Tadweer Group, highlighted the significance of the campaign, stating, “Ramadan is a time for reflection, unity, and giving back. Through the Naqa’a campaign, we seek to encourage the community to integrate sustainability into these values—minimizing waste, reusing materials, and promoting recycling for a cleaner environment. By participating in our initiatives, we can collectively a lasting positive impact, ensuring a more sustainable world for future generations.”
The campaign provides various opportunities for public engagement, advocating the principles of the 3 Rs—reduce, reuse, and recycle—through events, social media challenges, and interactive activities.
As part of the initiative, Tadweer Group’s Community Engagement team is organizing a range of public events during Ramadan, including sustainability awareness activities at the Sheikh Zayed Festival, family-friendly gatherings at Umm Al Emarat Park, and workshops and discussions at the Lammah Al Bahr Festival.
Additionally, the public can take part in weekly competitions, watch engaging sustainability-themed videos, and stay informed about Tadweer Group’s initiatives through social media. Participants will also have the chance to win exciting prizes.
