Sharjah Executive Council holds workshop on building permits

emirates7 - As part of the Government Services Design and Development Project, the General Secretariat of the Sharjah Executive Council conducted a series of brainstorming sessions over three weeks, centered on the Plan Approval and Building Permit workshop. This initiative is a key component of a broader effort to restructure and enhance high-priority government services across multiple departments. The primary goal is to improve customer experience, streamline administrative processes, and minimize transaction times, ultimately fostering more efficient and seamless government services.

This project aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Executive Council, to drive a transformative shift in government services. By prioritizing a deeper understanding of customer needs and expectations, the initiative seeks to enhance satisfaction, build public trust, and improve overall quality of life in Sharjah.

Developing Future Service Models

Held at the Sharjah Municipality headquarters, the workshop focused on devising innovative models for plan approval and building permit processes. Several high-ranking officials attended, including:

The discussions focused on developing faster, more precise processes for obtaining plan approvals and building permits.
