emirates7 - The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) is taking part in the Smart Correctional and Rehabilitation Centres Technology Conference in Thailand, which is set to run until 27th February.

Heading the ADJD delegation is Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al-Abri, Undersecretary of the department, alongside international representatives at the event, which is organized by the International Correctional and Prisons Association (ICPA).

The conference highlights advancements in correctional and rehabilitation centre management, focusing on the integration of modern technologies for inmate monitoring and operational efficiency.

Al-Abri stated that the ADJD’s participation reflects its dedication to fostering innovation in criminal justice and rehabilitation.

He also stressed the conference’s significance in strengthening global collaboration, exploring the role of artificial intelligence and digital transformation, and sharing expertise on contemporary approaches to enhancing institutional performance.
