UAE delegation arrives in Lebanon to reopen Embassy in Beirut

emirates7 - Following the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and a discussion with His Excellency Joseph Aoun, President of the Republic of Lebanon, a senior UAE delegation arrived in Beirut to oversee the preparations for reopening the UAE embassy in Lebanon’s capital.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) highlighted that reopening the embassy underscores the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the UAE and Lebanon and their peoples. The Ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s steadfast commitment to Lebanon’s unity, national sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as its enduring support for the Lebanese people.

The Ministry further noted that this step is part of broader efforts to enhance bilateral relations between the two nations. It reflects the UAE’s dedication to fostering stability and development in Lebanon and its continued commitment to supporting the Lebanese people across multiple sectors.
