The average hotel occupancy rate across the seven emirates rose to 77.8%, ranking among the highest globally. Between January and September 2024, the number of hotel nights reached approximately 75.5 million, reflecting an 8% year-on-year growth.

This progress was highlighted during the UAE delegation's participation in the 27th session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism, held at the League of Arab States General Secretariat in Cairo.

The delegation reiterated the UAE's commitment to enhancing collaborative efforts within the Arab tourism sector, emphasizing its importance as a key economic driver and a contributor to sustainable development across the region.

Additionally, the delegation stressed that Arab tourism cooperation extends beyond economic advantages, fostering cultural exchange, safeguarding the Arab region's rich heritage, and strengthening the collective identity of Arab nations.
