MEBAA Show 2024 kicks off tomorrow in Dubai

emirates7 - The MEBAA Show, the premier business aviation event in the Middle East and North Africa, begins tomorrow, Tuesday, December 10th, at Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International (DWC), Dubai AirSite. Running for three days, the 2024 edition will bring together visitors from over 95 countries, reinforcing Dubai's status as a global hub for business aviation during a period of rapid industry growth.

With a refreshed agenda and expanded offerings, the aims to drive innovation and address key challenges facing the sector. The event is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Airports, and Emirates Airline Group.

Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi, Executive Chairman of MEBAA, noted that the tenth edition of the event reflects the impressive growth of business aviation in the region. This year, the will feature over 145 exhibitors, including more than 65 first-time participants, setting a new record. Leading companies such as Chapman Freeborn, Citadel Completions, Empire Aviation Group, Gogo Business Aviation, and Honeywell International will be among those showcasing their offerings.

Paras P. Dhamecha of Empire Aviation Group emphasized the importance of face-to-face meetings at the show, highlighting the opportunity to connect with both regional and global partners and reinforce Dubai’s status as the aviation capital.

The event will also feature the BizAv Talks conference, with more than 55 industry leaders and executives, over 70% of whom will be C-suite speakers. Key topics will include The Next Frontier of Business Aviation, Sustainability in BizAv, and NextGen Leaders.

The static display of aircraft will be a major highlight, with 30 aircraft from renowned manufacturers like Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, and Gulfstream, including 12 first-time exhibitors.

In addition, the will debut a new Startup Hub for global innovators, an Advanced Air Mobility pavilion showcasing eVTOL technologies, and the Next Gen Leaders platform for students. The Luxury Boulevard, sponsored by Falcon, will highlight luxury brands alongside the business jets on display.

The event will foster collaboration through initiatives such as the Operators Programme and the Platinum Guest Programme. The AI-powered MEBAA Connect app will also help attendees schedule meetings and enhance networking opportunities.
