emirates7 - Dubai Chambers and Standard Chartered have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in fostering the growth of UAE businesses and supporting their expansion into promising global markets.
Under the MoU, both organizations will work together to offer integrated banking services to international companies setting up operations in Dubai, with support from Dubai Chambers, as well as to the local private sector. The partnership aims to boost the competitiveness of businesses in Dubai and assist in their growth both locally and internationally.
As part of the agreement, Standard Chartered will provide trade finance services to UAE businesses looking to expand internationally. The bank will use its global network to help Dubai-based businesses set up accounts and provide similar assistance to multinational companies establishing accounts in Dubai. Dubai Chambers will also support Standard Chartered’s global clients who are interested in establishing a presence in Dubai and expanding from there.
This MoU is part of the Global Partnerships Programme, which Dubai Chambers launched to accelerate its efforts to attract and expand business by partnering with world-class service providers across various sectors.
