emirates7 - The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) organised the biggest group iftar initiative in the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal on Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, which falls on the 19th of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The initiative came under the auspices of the UAE Embassy in Nepal and in the presence of Saeed Hamdan Al Naqbi, the UAE ambassador to Nepal, and Mohamed Hamdan Al Zari, Head of the Projects and Aid Sector, Head of the SCI's Delegation, and the volunteer of the member Saeed Mubarak Al Mashgoni.
Mohamed Hamdan Al Zari stated that the initiative coincides with the UAE’s celebration of Zayed Humanitarian Work Day in remembrance to the Founding Father, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Al Zari confirmed that the initiative included rice, meat, dates, fruits, cold drinks and water, highlighting that the initiative had a good impact among the beneficiaries, as they rejoiced in thanks and praise to the donors and SCI.
