Fair to partly cloudy weather with chances of rain on Thursday

emirates7 - The UAE is set to experience fair to partly cloudy weather on Thursday, August 28, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Convective clouds are expected to form over the eastern and southern regions, which could extend inland and bring rainfall.

Humidity will increase overnight and into Friday morning, particularly in western areas, raising the chance of fog or mist.

Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally picking up with cloud activity and stirring up dust and sand. On Thursday morning, the NCM issued an advisory for Al Wathba in Abu Dhabi, warning that blowing dust could reduce visibility to below 2,000 metres.

Sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea will remain slight.

Temperatures are forecast to range from a low of 27ºC in inland areas to highs of 46ºC. In Dubai, the temperature will peak at 44ºC and to 31ºC, while Sharjah will record similar highs of 44ºC and lows of 30ºC. Abu Dhabi is expected to see a high of 43ºC and a low of 32ºC.
