SEC reviews functioning of Sharjah’s rental system

emirates7 - H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), chaired a Council meeting on Tuesday at the Ruler’s Office.

Attending the meeting were H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi and H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, both Deputy Rulers of Sharjah and Deputy Chairmen of the Executive Council.

The session focused on enhancing public services provided by local government departments, with an emphasis on aligning them with the needs of residents across various regions.

A key topic discussed was the rental system in Sharjah City. The Council reviewed detailed reports highlighting the current operations and recent updates made to streamline rental procedures. It was noted that these services are now accessible through multiple digital platforms, significantly improving user convenience.

The Council also examined proposed amendments to the law concerning judicial fees in the emirate. They resolved to forward these recommendations to H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for approval and formal enactment.
