Unstable weather ahead: Fog, dust and showers forecast for UAE

emirates7 - The UAE is expected to experience several days of unstable weather this week, with forecasters warning of humid mornings, fog, dust storms, and occasional rainfall in some areas.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts that between September 20 and 24, skies will alternate between clear and partly cloudy. Convective clouds may develop over eastern regions, potentially bringing rain.

Morning humidity will be high in both coastal and inland areas, increasing the likelihood of fog and light mist. Winds are expected to strengthen during the day, stirring dust and making sea conditions occasionally rough.

Saturday: The day started with morning fog in western areas, clearing to partly cloudy skies later. Convective clouds may form over eastern regions in the afternoon. Winds could reach up to 35 km/h, causing dust, while seas should remain mostly calm.

Sunday: Coastal and inland areas may see fog in the morning. Skies will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers in the east. Winds could reach 40 km/h, but sea conditions are expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Monday: Similar weather is expected, with humid mornings, fog risk, and partly cloudy skies. Winds may reach 35 km/h, lifting dust.

Tuesday: Temperatures will slightly, though morning fog may persist. Winds could again hit 40 km/h, making the Arabian Gulf slightly to moderately rough.

Wednesday: Inland areas may experience fog or light mist in the morning, followed by partly cloudy skies with low clouds in northern and eastern regions. North-westerly winds could reach 40 km/h, causing moderate to rough seas in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate seas in the Oman Sea.
