UAE sees temperature dip and possible rain this week

emirates7 - UAE temperatures have eased slightly, hovering near 40°C, with the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasting Monday’s maximum to reach around 42°C.

According to AccuWeather, early morning readings ranged from 29°C to 32°C nationwide. Conditions will remain warm through the day, with coastal highs between 37°C and 41°C, inland areas peaking at 37°C to 42°C, and mountain regions recording cooler values of 31°C to 36°C.

The NCM noted that skies will be partly cloudy at intervals, with low clouds appearing over the east during the morning and a chance of convective clouds forming later. Rain is possible through Thursday, particularly in eastern and northern areas.

“Temperatures are set to dip slightly, with potential convective clouds developing in the east by afternoon,” the weather bureau added.

Humidity is expected to climb to 70–90% overnight and into Tuesday morning, raising the risk of fog or mist in some coastal and inland locations. Light to moderate winds may stir up dust occasionally.

Sea conditions will remain slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
