emirates7 - The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), hosted at the ADNEC Centre and organised by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, is recording strong visitor turnout and remarkable engagement from leading organisations and companies in veterinary medicine and animal health.
Exhibitors are highlighting the newest advancements in veterinary care, animal health solutions, and modern breeding and production technologies.
Among the key participants is the Advanced Scientific Group, which operates a specialised veterinary laboratory dedicated to camel research. The facility showcases cutting-edge capabilities such as embryo transfer, cloning, genetic testing, and DNA parentage verification, alongside a dedicated veterinary pharmacy.
On the academic side, the United Arab Emirates University – the country’s only accredited institution offering veterinary medicine degrees – is presenting specialised educational programmes centred on sustainability, animal health, and zoonotic disease prevention. Its faculty encompasses three core departments: food science, veterinary medicine, and integrated agriculture. The university offers bachelor’s degrees in veterinary medicine, fisheries, animal production, horticulture, and food sciences, in addition to research programmes on food security and the sustainable development of livestock and agriculture.
Also featured at ADIHEX are companies focused on animal nutrition, notably Zabeel Feed, which manufactures feed and nutritional supplements for horses, camels, birds, and exotic animals. Supported by a team of veterinarians and nutrition experts, the company also operates a laboratory that ensures products meet international standards.
Several firms specialising in veterinary medicines and equipment are also present, including Al Hikma, one of the UAE’s leading suppliers and exclusive distributors of internationally recognised veterinary medicines and supplements. Serving horses, camels, cattle, poultry, and pets, Al Hikma provides advanced solutions aimed at improving animal health, productivity, and performance, with particular emphasis on camel and horse racing, as well as livestock and poultry care.
The German Standards Group, based in Dubai, is also participating by offering expertise in establishing veterinary clinics and supplying veterinary pharmaceuticals and feeds from global brands such as Nestlé, Mindray, Zoetis, Minitube, and Henke Sass.
This breadth of participation reflects ADIHEX’s growing role as a leading platform for celebrating the region’s cultural heritage linked to hunting and equestrian traditions, while promoting innovative practices in breeding, veterinary medicine, and animal health.
