emirates7 - The ninth Hamdan humanitarian aid ship departed today from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, as part of the UAE’s ongoing “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.”
Organized in coordination with the Emirates Red Crescent, the vessel is headed to Egypt’s Al-Arish Port, from where its cargo will be transferred into the Gaza Strip to assist the Palestinian people.
Onboard are 7,000 tonnes of relief materials, including 5,000 tonnes of food parcels, 1,900 tonnes of food supplies designated for community kitchens, 100 tonnes of medical tents for healthcare facilities, and five fully equipped ambulances.
This mission underscores the UAE’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian relief and its efforts to ease the suffering of those affected. It is part of a continuous stream of aid operations carried out under “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” in collaboration with national humanitarian and charitable organizations.
