Korea, US sign 11 MoUs for cooperation in shipbuilding, nuclear energy, aviation

emirates7 - South Korea and the United States have inked 11 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to boost bilateral collaboration across a broad spectrum of strategic industries, including shipbuilding, nuclear power, aviation, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and critical minerals, the South Korean industry ministry announced Tuesday.

Yonhap News Agency reported that the agreements were signed Monday during a Korea-US business roundtable in Washington, held after President Lee Jae Myung’s first summit with US President Donald Trump.

“The Korean government will extend full institutional support to spark a new era of Korea-US manufacturing cooperation, working to open limitless business opportunities for companies in both countries,” Industry Minister Kim Jung-kwan said in a statement.
