Zayed Charity Run in Beijing reflects depth of bilateral ties: UAE Ambassador to China

emirates7 - Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to China, highlighted that selecting Beijing as the opening stop for the 2025 season of the Zayed Charity Run reflects the strong and longstanding bilateral ties between the UAE and China.

During a press conference unveiling the race details in Beijing, Al Hammadi emphasized that the event is part of the broader strategic partnership between the two nations, founded on mutual respect and shared aspirations for the future.

He pointed out that the UAE and China share a common humanitarian perspective and a commitment to fostering cooperation and building bridges across various fields.

Speaking to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the sidelines of the launch of the Huairou Great Wall Marathon and the Zayed Charity Run 2025, he stated that hosting the event at the Great Wall of China—a landmark of global heritage—symbolizes a new bridge in the growing relationship between the two countries, encompassing sports, culture, and humanitarian efforts.

Al Hammadi also noted that the race aligns with the UAE’s Year of Community, aimed at promoting inclusive community participation and supporting initiatives that positively impact people’s lives. He encouraged the public to join a series of cultural events organized alongside the race.
