UAE Ambassador meets with President of Palau

emirates7 - Mohamed Obaid Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Philippines and Non-Resident Ambassador to Palau, met with Surangel Whipps, Jr., President of the Republic of Palau, to explore ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.

During the meeting, Al Zaabi conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Whipps, Jr., expressing wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Palau and its people.

In response, President Whipps, Jr. extended his greetings to the UAE leaders and expressed his hopes for ongoing development and growth for the UAE. He praised the strong relations between the two countries and highlighted the UAE’s global development achievements, emphasizing Palau’s interest in expanding cooperation with the UAE in investment, tourism, and renewable energy.

Al Zaabi reiterated the UAE’s dedication to enhancing collaboration with Palau across multiple sectors, aiming to serve shared interests and strengthen ties between their peoples.

The discussions underscored both nations’ commitment to broadening bilateral cooperation and enhancing coordination on mutual concerns to support the development and progress of both countries.
