In response to natural disasters, the UAE provided relief to Chad in January 2025, distributing 30,000 food baskets and over 20,000 blankets to flood-affected areas. It also sent 700 tonnes of urgent food supplies to flood-hit regions in Somalia.

Following an earthquake in Myanmar at the end of March, the UAE delivered more than 200 tonnes of food, shelter, and medical aid, later sending an additional 167 tonnes of essential materials to support approximately 80,000 affected people.

On 11 August, UAE specialist teams arrived in Tirana, Albania, to assist with firefighting operations, providing aircraft, equipment, and other firefighting resources.

The UAE has also launched several globally impactful initiatives this year, including the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, which channels part of its proceeds toward providing healthcare and supporting medical systems in underserved communities through hospital development and medicine supply.

Additionally, the UAE Aid Agency and the Government of Chad signed an agreement to establish the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Hospital and a dialysis centre in N'Djamena, offering advanced healthcare and dialysis services to patients in need.
