Acting on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the team is intensifying ground and aerial efforts, employing advanced equipment to track fire zones, contain the blazes, and prevent flare-ups, despite the challenges of soaring temperatures and rugged terrain.
The mission began last Monday with the deployment of specialized aircraft and personnel. Since then, the team has conducted 15 aerial missions, releasing over 600,000 kilograms of water over affected areas. These interventions have played a key role in curbing the spread of the fires and shielding nearby communities from danger.
