emirates7 - China on Wednesday successfully deployed a new batch of low Earth orbit satellites from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in Hainan Province.

The batch, the eighth to be launched as part of an internet constellation project, was carried into space by a Long March-5B rocket equipped with a Yuanzheng-2 (Expedition-2) upper stage.

The satellites were placed into their designated orbit without issue, marking the 588th launch mission for the Long March rocket series.
