emirates7 - Italian exports increased by 4.9 percent year-over-year (YoY) in June 2025, according to the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat) on Monday, boosted mainly by trade with the United States ahead of new tariffs being implemented.
Data reported by the Italian news agency ANSA indicated that exports showed growth both on a monthly and annual basis in June, rising 4 percent compared to May 2025 and 4.9 percent compared to June 2024.
In terms of volume, the annual increase was 0.8 percent, while imports grew by 3.3 percent month-on-month and 4.8 percent in value year-over-year, with volume up 2.6 percent.
