The upcoming facility will serve as a crucial sovereign infrastructure hub in the Maldives, hosting a state-of-the-art data centre and the Maldives Police Service Cyber Security Operations Centre. It will be equipped with platforms powered by artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and data science, aimed at improving security threat monitoring and response, enabling data-driven decision-making, and enhancing proactive protection and operational planning.
Presight will execute the project to meet international standards, delivering integrated technical infrastructure designed to protect sovereign data and boost operational efficiency. This effort supports the Maldives' move toward advanced digital security solutions through collaboration with allied countries.
During the visit, Dr. Al Kuwaiti also officially opened the Maldives Police Service Cyber Security Operations Centre, which is intended to enhance capabilities in monitoring, detecting, and analyzing cyber threats, thereby increasing preparedness.
