emirates7 - The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has opened applications for the second round of its “Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator” program. This initiative invites both local and international tech innovators and AI firms to partner with government entities to develop innovative AI-driven solutions aimed at enhancing public services throughout Dubai.
Launched by DCAI in collaboration with Dubai Future Accelerators—an arm of the Dubai Future Foundation—the program aims to attract pioneering ideas that address current and future challenges facing government services. It supports the goals of the ‘Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence’ and aligns with Dubai’s vision to become the world’s premier hub for AI innovation across vital sectors.
In this second cycle, participating companies will work closely with over 20 government bodies, concentrating on four main areas: enhancing existing services through AI to boost personalization and efficiency; creating new services to overcome previously insurmountable challenges; improving operational efficiency by integrating AI into routine government workflows; and promoting inclusive access by developing solutions that remove barriers and expand service availability.
Participants will benefit from collaboration with experts on real-world problems, gaining opportunities to influence the future of public services. They will also have direct engagement with senior decision-makers, facilitating large-scale implementation of their innovations. Notably, the program does not require participants to give up any equity, allowing them to maintain full ownership of their technologies.
Supported by strong institutional backing, AI companies can explore growth prospects both within Dubai and globally. The program also covers accommodation and travel expenses for eight weeks in Dubai, allowing participants to fully focus on advancing and deploying their projects.
Applications for the “Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator” program remain open until August 28, 2025. Selected firms will be invited to Dubai for an intensive, eight-week on-site program running from October 6 to November 28, 2025, working hand-in-hand with government teams.
Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of DCAI, highlighted that the center was established under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Future Foundation. DCAI continues to drive Dubai’s ambition to become the leading global city in AI deployment, anticipating and shaping future transformations across sectors.
Al Falasi added, “The ‘Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator’ is crafted to ignite innovative AI applications, helping Dubai’s government bodies position the city as a global leader in delivering agile, AI-powered public services characterized by speed, quality, and efficiency. Our aim is to seamless, intelligent experiences that save time and effort, enhance quality of life, and support Dubai’s vision of being the happiest city worldwide.”
The first cycle of the program attracted significant international interest, with 615 AI companies from 55 countries participating. During this phase, 183 AI use cases were identified, with 75 piloted—demonstrating Dubai’s leadership in AI-driven government service transformation and its ongoing dedication to enhancing community well-being.
